In 2023, this is our core professional Laptop for hire. It has a good latest generation processor (in 2023), a good amount of RAM, a large screen (for a laptop), and is thus perfect for most professional, office tasks.

This is not a gaming asset, or suitable for high-quality fast video editing, or large statistical modelling. However, for word processing, spreadsheets, emails, web browsing, and presentations it’s a very good laptop for rent.

All business processes will be fast and smooth, with SSD hard drive, and Iris XE graphics.

This model supersedes the G8, and the G6 versions……and all have quite a consistent look and feel.

Compared to the G8, this model has much better display (sharpness, colour accuracy and brightness), it also has much faster system and app performance – even powering games at around 40% higher frame rate per second. The battery capacity is also around 13% better, and includes an old-school USB-A port.
