Legal Proceedings Equipment Hire
The legal process has moved beyond the traditional courtroom setting. Legal proceedings now sometimes incorporate high-tech audiovisual equipment to facilitate everything from mediation to case hearings. In popular cases, live feeds have been set up so that more people can stay tuned to the events. In these cases, multiple monitors with proper video and sound checks are set up in overflow courtrooms to ensure the crowd in the additional courtrooms is not left in the dark.
In other circumstances, it may not be possible for a suspect or witness to be physically present in court. In these instances, the judge can admit the assistance of technology to present important information. For example, a monitor can be set up at the hearing or dispute resolution and a live feed funnelled in. If digitised documents need to be read or they need to be presented to the judge, a computer with a projector allow for the process of the hearing to flow more smoothly.
How we can help
Hire Intelligence supports courts, tribunals, and legal teams with reliable technology designed to improve the presentation and management of digital evidence during hearings and trials. We can provide display screens and monitors positioned for judges, legal teams, witnesses, media representatives, and public galleries, ensuring video, documents, and other digital evidence can be viewed clearly by all participants.
Where required, we can also deploy live video feeds between courtrooms, breakout rooms, and remote locations. These systems allow participants not only to view proceedings but also to speak directly with remote witnesses or participants in real time, supporting two-way communication during testimony or questioning.
For structured discussions and formal hearings, we can supply push-to-talk (PTT) microphone systems and professional PA solutions, allowing participants to speak clearly and ensuring proceedings are captured and heard accurately. Our systems also support video playback and multimedia presentation, enabling legal teams to present complex digital evidence smoothly and reliably.
For certain cases involving spatial or situational evidence, we can also provide VR technology for scenario reconstruction, helping participants visualise locations, movements, or events in a more immersive way.
Hire Intelligence can also supply tablets pre-loaded with case materials, digital exhibits, or briefing documents so participants can access relevant information instantly during proceedings.
Our service includes transport, installation, testing, and de-rig of all equipment, ensuring systems are correctly configured and ready before each session begins. We can also provide on-site technical support throughout the hearing, enabling rapid device replacement, troubleshooting, assistance with sharing additional content, and ensuring proceedings continue smoothly with minimal technical disruption.

Legal Proceedings
When a high-profile legal case was brought before a courtroom in London, UK, the proceedings involved a significant volume of digital evidence and multimedia content. To ensure that all parties could clearly view and follow the material presented, a robust and carefully managed audiovisual solution was required for the judge, legal teams, media representatives, and members of the public attending the trial.
Hire Intelligence was engaged to design and supply the required technology, ensuring that digital evidence could be displayed clearly and consistently throughout the courtroom environment. The solution included multiple monitors positioned for the judge, legal teams, and court staff, as well as large-format displays for media representatives and the public gallery both inside and outside the courtroom.
All displays were connected to a central presentation system, allowing content to be shared simultaneously across every screen. The system was carefully configured and tested to ensure that documents, video evidence, and other digital materials could be presented reliably and in synchronisation across all displays.
In addition, Hire Intelligence was able to build a secure temporary network infrastructure to support the presentation system and ensure reliable connectivity for the equipment used during the proceedings.
Because the courtroom needed to return to normal use at the end of each day, the entire solution had to be installed, tested, and removed daily. Our team handled the full setup each morning and de-rig at the close of proceedings, ensuring the system was fully operational before the session began.
Throughout the trial, Hire Intelligence technicians remained on-site, ready to provide immediate technical support. This ensured any device could be quickly swapped if required, technical issues resolved instantly, and additional content shared with the courtroom without disruption to proceedings.
