Multi-Device Management for Technology Rental
Most rental providers supply the hardware and leave the setup to you. Hire Intelligence gives you the option to add multi-device management services to your rental, helping you deploy laptops, tablets and smartphones more efficiently.
Where selected, devices can be enrolled, configured and prepared before delivery to your requirements, then securely wiped when the hire ends. This optional service helps reduce the workload on your internal IT team and supports organisations rolling out technology across multiple users, locations or project phases.
Our multi-device management service supports IT rollouts, client deployments and event projects by providing a consistent approach to device preparation, without the need to purchase and manage additional hardware.
Our office equipment hire service removes the need to source and instead transports high quality IT equipment. You can save from having to maintain and clean this technology, from constantly buying updated tech, renting storage units and from sourcing these products. With office tech rental, we can have your office and staff ready to go before you even set foot in it. That includes everything from desktop computers, laptops, phones, printers, monitors and copier rental. Basically, everything you need to get the job done.
FAQS
Can Hire Intelligence manage devices our organisation already owns?
No. Multi-device management under this service applies only to the devices in your rental fleet. It doesn’t cover hardware your organisation already owns or provide broader fleet management outside the hire.
What platforms does multi-device management cover?
When selected as part of your rental, the service is available across Windows laptops, MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, tablets and desktop computers.
How quickly can a managed fleet be turned around between deployments?
Devices managed under this service are securely wiped and reconfigured following their return, allowing them to be prepared for their next deployment.
How we can help
- Device enrolment and pre-configuration: Every device—Apple, Android, and Windows—is enrolled into our management environment, with applications installed, settings locked down, and user profiles applied according to your specification. This provides a fully pre‑configured fleet ready for deployment, removing the need for any on‑site administration. This service applies only to the devices supplied as part of the hire and does not extend to hardware already owned by your organisation.
- Built for bulk device deployment UK: We run deployments from 50 to 500-plus devices across multiple sites or event venues at once, applying the same enrolment and configuration standard consistently across the whole fleet, not a one-off setup for a handful of laptops.
- Full catalogue coverage: At Hire Intelligence, we cover more than Apple hardware. Laptops running Windows, MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, tablets, and desktops can all sit under the same MDM device rental, configured to the same standard and tracked through the same process.
- Full data wipe: Devices managed as part of this service are securely wiped on return in line with UK GDPR requirements, with an audit trail available on request. That matters for any organisation handling client data, case files or financial records during the hire, and it’s a standard part of the return process on every managed device, not an optional extra.
- Rapid re-deployment: Between events or project phases, devices managed under this service can be securely wiped, reconfigured and prepared for the next hire between project phases or events. For event and creative teams running a consistent brand-name fleet across multiple shows, this keeps every deployment looking and behaving the same way without buying and storing hardware between dates.

Who this supports
Who this supports
Multi-device management most often comes up in IT project rollouts and system migrations, as well as in corporate events and product launches. It’s just as common in exam and training deployments at universities and training providers, trade shows and exhibitions, and TV and film productions that need a consistent, pre-loaded fleet on set.
If your project means getting more than a handful of devices into people’s hands at the same standard, this is built for that.
