International Team Meetings
When a leading international company formed a new project team, with some of the team based in the UK, some based in the USA, some office-based and many working from home – they needed regular catch-ups for communication and collaboration.
Those working from home in the UK were provided with laptops (with software, and image pre-loaded as agreed with the company IT team), for the key monthly meetings – the larger meetings rooms in offices were provided with short-term rental of Microsoft Surface Hub devices, and for those members of the team who were regularly in longer teleconferences – logitech rally systems were provided around key dates.
The testing for the laptop setup was done in collaboration with the company’s IT team. The surface hubs were installed and tested the night before key meetings and logged in to a client ID. The logitech rally systems work seamlessly with the videoconference software chosen by the client, and pre-installed onto relevant devices.
Deployment to home addresses and offices was all within 24 hours (within the UK), and packaging and labels provided for easy return of assets. The original hiring of laptops was for 3-months, but continued on a pro-rata basis until the project was completed. Spare and imaged devices were kept and ready to send out should a swift replacement have been required.
This type of multi-asset rental, and collaboration with a client’s own IT team to ensure deployments go smoothly is becoming more common for Hire Intelligence. What's the Process for Hiring Equipment on a Long-term Basis?
Our long-term hire plans work in a similar way to our short-term rentals.
The start of the process is the same as short-term hire, however, our experienced sales team will make regular calls with you to make sure everything is running smoothly with your equipment.
If you have hired your equipment for a year, or you wish for your rental to be collected, simply contact us and we will arrange for your equipment to be picked up as soon as possible.

What Happens If The Equipment Becomes Faulty During My Rental Period?
We deal with any issues quickly and efficiently by fixing or repairing equipment as soon as possible.

How Long Will My Delivery Take?
If you live in areas surrounding the M25, you can expect to receive your delivery on the same day.
The cut off time for overnight deliveries is 3pm (the day before you would like the equipment to be sent to you). If you are based in Central London you will receive your items within a couple of hours after placing an order.
If you live in other areas outside of London you can expect to receive your equipment the next day.
