Oliver Quigley
Oliver joined Hire Intelligence in 2018 and immediately began shaping the sales structure, developing the team, and introducing a disciplined, process‑driven approach. When Covid hit, as with many others, the business faced an exceptionally challenging period — one that required calm leadership, clear communication, and a willingness to get hands‑on. Oliver helped steer the organisation through that uncertainty, supporting the team, stabilising operations, and rebuilding customer confidence. As the market recovered, he played a central role in driving Hire Intelligence back to full strength, ultimately helping the business emerge in a stronger position than ever, with sharper processes, a more resilient team, and a renewed focus on reliability and service excellence.
Now stepping into the role of General Manager for the UK & Ireland, Oliver continues to evolve the organisation with a strategy centred on exceptional delivery, attention to detail, and a customer‑centric mindset. His focus is on ensuring Hire Intelligence remains the most trusted provider of short‑term tech rental, event technology, and equipment‑as‑a‑service solutions — supporting long‑standing partners and new clients with the same level of care, consistency, and professionalism.
Leadership Style
Oliver is a hands‑on leader who believes in being close to every part of the business. He champions clear communication — internally and with customers — and believes that when everyone understands the vision, the plan, and the purpose behind it, teams work together with far greater cohesion and confidence. His leadership is grounded in transparency, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering the best possible experience for every client.
Educational Background and Interests
With a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Oliver naturally approaches challenges by breaking them down into their essential components. This analytical mindset, combined with his sporting background, fuels his belief in marginal gains — the idea that small, consistent improvements accumulate into meaningful progress. It’s a philosophy that shapes his approach to operations, customer service, and continuous innovation.
Oliver is also passionate about keeping Hire Intelligence future‑focused. He is always exploring new and emerging technologies so the company can offer cutting‑edge equipment and solutions that help clients stand out, operate more efficiently, and deliver exceptional results.
Personal Philosophy
Oliver believes improvement is a constant pursuit — even the smallest refinements matter. He also values buy‑in: ensuring clients and team members alike understand the goal, the strategy, and how their contributions fit into achieving shared ambitions.
Personal Life
Oliver lives with his family in South West London and enjoys skiing, rugby, and making memories.
